He wakes up later seeing visions, but is snapped back to reality by Venom; unexplained how he got to Mexico.
They need to take down the Cotati’s big flower weapon.

The book ends with our heroes enjoying some grub after saving the day.
The Pulse:
A fun interlude in the Empyre saga. However, this one-shot doesn’t seem necessary to the overall plot of Empyre. Solid art though. 6 out of 10.
