DC Comics Reveals More WildStorm Characters Coming Beyond Grifter Post Joker War In Batman! (Sans Spoilers)
During DC FanDome II, DC Comics Publisher and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer had the below to say during a Q and A session.
- “In 2021 you’re going to see more WildStorm integration, but in a thoughtful, deliberate, creative way when it makes sense.“
- “You want to make sure all the characters in our universe exist for a reason and occupy a certain part of the spectrum in our mythology so you don’t have characters with duplicate powers, duplicate origins, or duplicate missions.“
- “With that kind of thoughtfulness and creativity, we’d love to see more of the WildStorm universe of characters, when it makes sense. And that’s the current approach.“
Batman #101 with WildCats’ Grifter’s DC emergence lands in stores on October 20 / 21, 2020.

As part of the New 52 DC Comics did do a Team 7 book in 2012 incorporating both classic WildStorm and DC Comics characters on the team as part of the secret history of DC.
