Marvel Comics and Venom #33 Spoilers and Review follows.

A Big Return, A Big Powerplay and A Big Betrayal As King In Black Continues!

There are quite a few more variant covers in addition to the above included below; some even have virgin art versions.

Plus the main cover.

Looks like Eddie Brock’s son Dylan is changing the tide in the battle against Knull in the real world.

He frees the Avengers, X-Men and others from the grasp of Knull’s symbiotes as witness by Eddie, Rex and Flash Thompason aka Agent Venom in the Hive.

The three then walk through to another part of the Hive where…

…they see the symbiotes that Dylan separated from their hosts imprisoned by other symbiotes.

Agent Venom will free them and released Eddie’s original symbiote, but it’s a suicide mission.

He does make Knull hurt…

…as well as evolves to a dragon symbiote or somesuch.

However, it appears that Rex’s symbiote allows…

…Knull to take control and surprise Eddie Brock from behind!

The Pulse:

Great art with excellent action and intrigue for the Earth scenes, but the Hive scenes were too talky-talky and plodding. Cliffhanger was not wholly unexpected. 6 out of 10.
