Spoilers, Top Story

Marvel Comics and Heroes Reborn #7 Spoilers and Review follows.

Avengers Assemble Ahead Of Heroes Return Finale! The REAL Villain Revealed and It’s NOT Mephisto?!

The book also has a few more variant covers on top of the above.

Plus the main cover.

While the previous issues focused on different members of the Squadron Supreme of America this issue brings them together.

There are two stories in this issue as well in the penultimate chapter of this event.

The Squadron Supreme of America is trying determine whether their reality is the real deal and how…

…these Avengers they’ve heard about fit into it all.

President Phil Coulson eavesdrops on the team and hears of a potential schism between the “Big 3” and the rest of the Squadron.

The main story ends with the Squad heading to Africa…

…Wakanda to get to the bottom of their Avenges mystery which…

…is a mystery no more.

The back-up story shows President Phil Coulson…

…assassinate General Ross and J. Jonah Jameson set to blame it on Wakandan spies.

Mephisto continues to be a puppeteer in all this, but…

…Coulson seems uncharacteristically blood thirsty. Is this really him? Is Coulson the real villain here?

He does have a cosmic cube to use to end the threat of the Avengers to keep this new reality together.

The updated Heroes Reborn even checklist is included in the back of the book.

While this is Heroes Reborn #7 (of 7) this event ends in Heroes Return #1 (of 1) that lands in stores next week on June 23, 2021.

The Pulse:

While this was probably the best issue to date, as the whole Squadron Supreme of America was together, this still was an underwhelming series. The back-up’s have proven the strongest on story and art; it was most relevant part of the issue. 7.5 out of 10.
