Marvel Comics and Children Of The Atom #6 Spoilers and Review follows.

An X-Men Hellfire Gala Tie-In…

…To End The Series?!

We open with a storyline catch-up, dramatis personae and creators credits page.

It appears that Gimmick is the only mutant on this team and she’s been invited by Storm to the Hellfire Gala.

Gimmick does attend and is marveling at the pageantry, but…

…misses her friends.

She also comes out to her family as a mutant which only deepens their familial bond.

Gimmick later joins a battle with her teammates…

…after which they declare their support of…

…whatever decision she makes as to which “world” she will be in.

Well, it looks like Gimmick will stay as a member of the Children of the Atom as…

…love blossoms with her teammate and team leader Cyclops-Lass.

The Pulse:

This series had such potential, but the pandemic delay to its launch had it start from behind the eight ball. The changing of the art teams didn’t help either. I enjoyed these kids, of which only one was a mutant, and their adventures. Hope we’ll see them again. This issue was ok, but ends optimistically. 7 out of 10.
