Injury Updates For Both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair Ahead Of WWE Wrestlemania 38!
Becky Lynch legitimacy sustained a throat injury at a house show in Allentown, PA on March 6, 2022 at the hands of Bianca Belair. It was not from the hair whipping that was used in story, but likely a forearm shot before her KOD finisher. The voice box injury was expected to require up to 2 weeks of recovery with Becky Lynch already back on Raw and getting physical.
On the May 14, 2022 edition of Raw, Lynch returned and caused trauma to Bianca Belair’s throat causing Belair to be absent from the March 21, 2022 edition of Raw.
However, Bianca Belair is not really hurt. This is a storyline injury. Whereas earlier in the month, Lynch was legitimately hurt which was incorporated into the storyline heading up to their night one match for Wrestlemania 38. Both competitors should be fine now and ready for their title bout and the go-home show on the March 28, 2022 edition of Raw.
