NBC is giving its freshman series Trauma a do-not-resuscitate order.
The network is planning to let the show’s 13-episode order play out for the rest of the fall, but that will be it for the medical drama about San Francisco paramedics. The network isn’t using the worded “canceled,” but a rep confirms that it’s also not ordering any more episodes.
Five episodes of the show have aired so far. The remaining eight episodes will likely hold down the 9 p.m. Monday timeslot through the fall.
The end of Trauma could possibly make way for the newly expanded season of Chuck to debut in January rather than March.
