Death of the Family Spoiler: Teen Titans #14 Stealth Prelude (Red Robin, Joker, Batman)

Spoilers

Teen Titans #14 hit stands today and it features the final part of writer Scott Lobdell’s Wonder Girl origins-with-modern-day-consequences ;) arc.

In addition, like with a few other DC Comics titles we’ve noticed this month, the TT issue includes yet another sneaky unannounced prelude to next month’s Teen Titans #15 Death of the Family cross-over.

Spoilers follow. You have been warned. :)

Here’s how Teen Titans #14 ends alongside the issue’s cover.

So, Tim Drake / Red Robin has been kidnapped by Mister J… The Joker! That does seem to make January 2nd’s Teen Titans #15 all the more interesting. However issue #15’s solicit seems to indicate that this cliffhanger will be resolved early in that issue.

Teen Titans #15

• A “DEATH OF THE FAMILY” tie-in!
• Red Hood and Red Robin team up against The Joker!
• Will Arsenal take over the Titans?
• Guest-starring Batgirl!

Written by: Scott Lobdell.
Art by: Brett Booth, Norm Rapmund.
Cover by: Greg Capullo.
Variant Cover by: Brett Booth, Mark Irwin.
On Sale Date: Jan 2 2013

Issue 15 looks interesting. I’m intrigued by the Joker taking an enlarged TT with Arsenal and Batgirl.

However, as you can see, this month’s Teen Titans #14 stealth prelude is not on the Death of the Family Checklist below. Tricky DC! ;)
