ProWrestling.net is reporting that a teenage fan claims that Randy Orton assaulted him at the town of Saugus, close to Boston on 13 January. The alleged assault consists of Orton spitting gum at the fan and calling him a derogatory name, after the fan took a picture of Orton at a parking lot and asked him to pose for another picture. A clerk magistrate will now have to decide whether or not the incident warrants a criminal complaint.
Personally, I think it’s one of the most ridiculous complaints I’ve ever heard and hope the court throws it out (Or accepts Orton’s IED defense). Filing charges at someone for spitting gum at you? If this was a criminal offense then the late Curt Hennig would have spent his entire adult life behind bars.
