– Kofi Kingston beats Christian with the Trouble in Paradise to win the vacant Intercontinental Title. Afterwards, Drew McIntyre comes out and hands Teddy Long a letter. Long then tells Kingston to give McIntyre the Intercontinental Title back. The letter was from Vince McMahon, who demanded that McIntyre be reinstated as champion and that Long had abused his power as General Manager.
– Shad Gaspard wins a squash match.
– MVP & JTG beat The Dudebusters.
– C.M. Punk tells the Straight Edge Society not to come to the ring with him later on because they showed doubt about him last week.
– Jack Swagger cuts a promo about all the sports trophies he has won. He also claims to have invented a deli sandwich in Oklahoma called The Swagger. Big Show turns up and starts breaking Swagger’s trophies.
– Beth Phoenix, who gets a great reaction here in her hometown of Buffalo, comes out for a match with Rosa Mendes. Phoenix had a knee brace on after last week’s injury. Vickie Guerrero comes out and demands Phoenix defend the title in a handicap match against Layla & Michelle McCool. Big “Let’s Go Buffalo” chants. Layla winds up pinning Phoenix and so, as per the rules of the match, won the Women’s Title for McCool once again.
– Kane beats Chavo Guerrero with a chokeslam.
– Drew McIntyre vs Big Show is announced for next week.
– Rey Mysterio beats C.M. Punk by DQ. The masked man tries to interfere but it is revealed to be Serena. The real masked man then interferes and knocks out Mysterio for the DQ. He then celebrates with the Straight Edge Society.
