The final head-to-head battle between WWE Raw and TNA Impact in the recent Monday Night ‘War’, on April 26, saw 147,000 homes Tivo or tape Raw and then watch it within the following week. The following week’s unopposed Raw on May 3 saw 146,000 homes doing the same thing. There are very few wrestling fans who seem to watch the shows on tape, while Impact’s Tivo numbers were far lower on Monday nights than they had been on Thursdays despite the scheduling issue with Raw. The trend among most wrestling fans seems to be that if they are to watch their show, great, yet if they miss it then it is not seen as much of a big deal at all, perhaps due to the amount that is available on TV on a regular basis anyway.
