With Haye Quiet, Wladimir Klitschko Looks Ahead To Povetkin

News

David Haye is not carving out a respectable reputation for himself. After years of calling out both Klitschko Brothers, he suddenly has nothing to say when it’s time to sign the contracts. Older brother Vitali Klitschko grew tired of waiting and took on Albert Sosnowski last month. The younger Wladimir Klitschko seems to be moving on now too.

According to Dan Rafael’s Notebook, Haye is in serious talks with Audley Harrison for his next fight. If Haye-Harrison comes to fruition, a November 13 date has been tossed around, Wladimir will likely defend his heavyweight title against his mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin. Povetkin is one of the few remaining heavyweight contenders with an undefeated record, mostly due to the fact of not having fought a Klitschko.
