After his win over Daniel Straus at Bellator 45, a victory that delivered the Bellator Season 4 Featherweight Tournament title to him, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire has set his sites on a return bout with champion Joe Warren.

Warren emerged victorious via split decision over Freire in the finals of the Bellator Season 2 Featherweight Tournament, before moving on to win the title from Joe Soto.

The fight is expected to take place on July 23 during Bellator’s Summer Series.

Joe Warren has also announced plans to enter next season’s bantamweight tournament in an attempt to become the promotion’s first two-division champion.
