Recently signed welterweight prospect Jorge Lopez will be taking on Justin Edwards in his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 25: “Battle on the Bayou.” After announcing his signing via Twitter earlier in the day, Lopez immediately posted his opponent on his page as well:
UFC Fight Night 25: “Battle on the Bayou” takes place at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sept. 17, 2011.
The main event will feature the “Battle of the Jakes” as Jake Shields faces off with fellow welterweight Jake Ellenberger.
