Last week’s All-New X-Men featured Cyclops and company going to the Jean Grey School in search of anyone who wanted to transfer to the new Xavier School.
Celeste, Mindy, and Phoebe Cuckoo were not shocking choices. They were Emma’s girls, mini versions of her that she had taken under her wing ages ago. They also have an affinity for Scott’s point of view dating back to Morrison’s New X-Men, and their time on his Corsairs Squad, so they weren’t a stretch.
But we were promised one of the original five X-Men would go as well, and it’s expected to be the opening moment of the next issue of All-New X-Men, buttttt…..it’s kinda thrown away to finish this issue.
