Artist extraordinaire & frequent guest on the Hittin’ The Canvas Wrestling Pulsecast recently completed his “Champions” portrait of the WWE’s Triple H. As per custom, Rob posted a photo of the painting on his Twitter page only to have Triple H respond directly to Rob. You can check out a screenshot of the exchange below:
When asked for a quote, Rob said:
“With each of my paintings, I try to not only capture the persona of the wrestler, but to also push myself further as an artist. And to then get such a positive and public response from the subject, and then from the public, is such a fantastic feeling.”
Harrak’s Hit: As a friend of Rob’s and an owner of numerous paintings of his, I’m sure this is a surreal moment for him. Really can’t say enough nice things about his amazing work.
