In advance of the debut of Nightcrawler’s solo series as part of All-New Marvel Now, its branding controversy nothwithstanding, we have Kurt Wagner’s reintroduction to readers in the opening arc of Amazing X-Men. The seemingly dead hero returns to swashbuckling.

Following the preview for Amazing X-Men #4, we get to learn about the red and blue Bamf creatures running around the Marvel Universe. Looks like Nightcrawler has a bigger family then we thought.
Nightcrawler also saves his allies, including Wolverine, from their otherworldly prisons to set-up a battle with Nightcrawler father Azazel.
