Much has been about Marvel Comics revisiting 18 classic events as part of Secret Wars 2015. It’s all part of a broader multi-tiered publishing plan:
- The first 13 classic Marvel events returned to span the Marvel Universe – from Avengers to X-Men;
- The 14th revisit announced focussed on the X-Men;
- The 15th redux event involves a once thought recently concluded Spider-Man event;
- The 16th event revisited involves the X-Men; and
- The 17th and 18th event redux involve the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy for the former and the Walking Dead for the latter.
Despite the folks on these classic Marvel Comics event name retreads, there are a few other new series that are part of Secret Wars 2015 that are somewhat unique ands in some cases diverse.
There are 18 such new series.

It sure looks like Marvel has 9 more series to announced; whether they’re net new series or event revisits remains to be seen. Check our Marvel’s new Battleworld Map below. It also includes a few regular series tie-ins.
Interesting. What say you?
