Old Man Quill Does For Star-Lord What Old Man Logan Did For Logan and Old Man Hawkeye Is Doing For Hawkeye?

CBR reports:

The Old Man trend over at Marvel isn’t stopping anytime soon, as the publisher has announced Old Man Quill by writer Ethan Sacks and artist Robert Gill.

At this weekend’s Lucca Comics 2018, editor-in-chief CB Cebulski announced the comic’s creative team and that the first issue will debut in February. The first issue’s variant covers will be done by Andrea Sorrentino and Rod Reis. Reis’ variant of the aged Peter Quill was shown by Cebulski, along with the book’s logo. Plot details for the book and how long it will run have yet to be revealed.

“Basically, I’ve fallen in love with this world,” Sacks told CBR by telephone. “Sure, it’s a horrible place to live, but it’s a beautiful place to visit. And there were some characters and we were looking around and we sort of know that Captain America’s gone and that the X-Men are gone. But we were wondering what the Guardians of the Galaxy were doing… This kind of takes that world and expands it into a universe.”

“It’s a sequel in the Old Man Logan universe,” Sacks added. “It’s something that takes place a little after Old Man Logan.”

Now that the younger Wolverine is alive and kicking, the older Logan that kicked off the Old Man series of books will soon be retired starting in this month’s 12-issue limited series Dead Man Logan. Old Man Hawkeye, set in the original alternate future from which Old Man Logan hails, debuted earlier this year and is also being written by Sacks.

Old Man Quill will hit shelves in Feb. 2019.

Not sure what to think about this.
