Marvel Comics and X-Corp #1 Spoilers and Review follows.
Will This X-Pansion Be Successful?
The book has a few variant covers.
Plus the main cover.
We open with a dramatis personae, storyline catch-up and creators credits page.
Then we get a message from X-Corp.
A hopeful and optimistic message.
X-Corp is her to help.
And, end commercial.
With X-Corp’s imminent launch to the world Monet recruits Trinary formerly of X-Men: Red.
She also recruits the OG Jamie Madrox aka the Multiple Man.
At the same time, Angel is doing business in Brazil with a Mr. Kol who the team thinks is hacking X-Corp’s systems with ransomware.
The X-Corp offices soar literally; this is not a stock metaphor.
At the same time, Kol turns on Angel and tells Kol that X-Corp will win.
In fact, unknown to Kol, he…
…helped X-Corp make a stunning debut!
The press even ate it up.
Next up is the Hellfire Gala in X-Corp #2 on stands on June 16, 2021.
The Pulse:
Solid art and decent intrigue in the first issue. A bit clumsy in revealing the premise and inaccessible at times. Interesting characters choices for the team. Not sure how I feel about this book yet. 5.5 out of 10.
