According to Variety, in addition to announcing a new Star Wars film trilogy helmed by Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, as well as launching a new Disney streaming service that would see the company repatriate its Marvel TV from Netflix, Disney chairman-CEO Bob Iger also announced that the company was working on new Star Wars live action TV show.
