WWE Hall Of Famers & legends of the wrestling business Bret Hart & Roddy Piper are both featured in a new TV pilot that hit the internet on Friday called “Bodyslam”. In the clip below, Hart plays the promoter’s brother who is just not ready to retire despite his age and injuries while Piper acts as the ringside commentator. The show is currently being shopped around to different networks.
Harrak’s Hit: I’d love for a network to pick this up, scrap the horrible script, “student film”-style look and ditch the contrived uses of “insider terms” like “shoot”, “worker” and “strap”. Basically, I’d like anyone to pick up the concept but ditch everything else. I feel like Piper and Hart are better than this.
