Back in Egypt, the body count rises and in the nick of time Marjorie time jumps.

Back in Viking era, the Temporal Sheriff exacts quick and lethal justice as she seems to be righting temporal anomalies.

Readers see what the original fate was for the person she executed; in both times they died so the Sheriff seems to setting the timeline right or something; we also see her hunt down and capture her WWII temporal disruptor.

Elsewhen, Marjorie has time jumped back to her home in a odd place in the timestream or something as she chats up her roommate Tim the talking head.

She’s actually being watched by someone(s)…

The Pulse:

The story is the kind of balls-to-wall kind-of-story you expect from Garth Ennis. I don’t think the swearing adding to the story, but perhaps others do. The art by Goran Sudzuka fits with the string of artists Ennis has worked in the past who have a cartoony style to contrast the gore and vulgarity peppered in his stories. Lots of action and intrigue in this issue and a compelling lead; the sister revelation was a great way to end the issue. 7.5 out of 10.
